“But besides gifts, there is also the danger of working up pride in the matter of experience, and it shows us particularly clearly the wiliness and the subtlety of the devil.  He can ruin a man’s Christian life, as far as his enjoyment and usefulness in the is world are concerned, by simply using the greatness of the experience a man may have had and puffing him up over it.  He will make him boast of his spiritual experience.” p. 335
